WAUS Presents Beethoven at One Beginning June 1


Beginning June 1, WAUS invites listeners to spend the 1 PM hour exploring the symphonies of Ludwig van Beethoven — one weekday at a time.

Throughout this special programming feature, WAUS announcer and Music Director Simon Luke Brown will guide listeners through Beethoven’s symphonic masterpieces while highlighting the unique interpretations of celebrated conductors and orchestras from around the world. Listeners will hear how different artistic approaches bring new life and meaning to these timeless works.

From the dramatic power of the Fifth Symphony to the grandeur of the Ninth, Beethoven’s music continues to inspire audiences generations after it was written. This series offers both longtime classical listeners and newcomers an opportunity to experience these influential works in a deeper and more engaging way.
