A sought-after performer, educator, and lecturer, Rachmanov is known for his powerful interpretations of Russian repertoire. His performances have been praised for their depth, artistry, and expressive intensity, including a celebrated all-Scriabin program at Carnegie Hall described as “a poem of ecstasy.”

Dmitry Rachmanov is Chair of Keyboard Studies at California State University, Northridge, and a leading advocate for Russian piano music.
He is a recipient of numerous awards and serves as founding member and president of the Scriabin Society of America. In addition to performing worldwide, he is highly regarded as a master class clinician, adjudicator, and lecturer.
